CRYSTAL AND CO PERINATAL SERVICES

Welcome here:) My name is Crystal Colbourne. I live in Chilliwack BC with my hubby of 16 plus years and our three kids: age 14, 11, and 7. I love birth, babies, being a doula,  people, coffee, chips, wine, reading, Netflix, walks on the river, the ocean, laughter, cooking and community:) I love partnering with families, supporting mamas, and seeing babies being born. It is an amazing privilege, and one I will never tire of. I have learned through my own struggles, my own birth stories and journey into motherhood, that compassionate support, education, understanding choices, knowing I have a voice now, and knowing where and when to seek help is vital to new families. We have lost our village in our society, and my hope is to bring a piece of it back. In 2020 I started, along with an incredible group of friends and businesses, Rising Mama Collective. A non profit, to fill those gaps in birth and postpartum for those who need it. Which truly, is all of us. I am so grateful that I can also call Birth, my Work:) To do what you love is a gift. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been in love with babies and birth. When I was 12 years old, I had the privilege of watching my mom be my aunt's "doula" and seeing my cousin being born. That experience changed me forever, and I knew some way, somehow, my life had to involve bearing witness to life being born, and supporting women in doing so.
